John’s Beachcombing Museum

John’s Beachcombing Museum has everything you could ever think of from around the globe. It all started over 40 years ago in 1976 when the museum first started collecting items and has since built up its collection of unique objects that were collected off of both local and other beaches from around the world. This is a one-of-a-kind experience where you can see everything from a unique assortment of sea glass, crazy shaped driftwood, and even pieces off of international space crafts – there is nowhere in the world quite like this one.

Tree of Life

The state of Washington is full of natural marvels, one of which is located right here in Forks. The locals call it the “Tree of Life”. The Sitka Spruce resides in the Olympic Peninsula and is majestically situated between two cliff faces forming a tree cave. Travelers from around the nation come to see this tree’s intricate webbed roots stretch between the cliff faces literally holding on by a limb. How this tree manages to keep on growing is a mystery to all and is a must-see sight when visiting the area.
